POTL is the acronym for "POWER OF THE LETTERS", a Parisian street wear brand created in 2018 by the French-Tunisian street artist RamZ (Ramzi Saibi).
RamZ is the author of a contemporary Arabic calligraphy that draws its inspiration from tradition to strive for innovation. With an urban style and a modern touch, the artist declines his works on textiles, a different way to promote his art:
"I don't just see my art on a canvas or confined to a gallery. Art is off-road, there are no limits. POTL testifies to this
willingness to take my art out of its comfort zone and make it travel differently."
More than a clothing brand, POTL is a reflection of the double culture from which the artist comes, a mixture between Arabic calligraphy and modern art, a symbiosis between East and West. His first collection is a composition that states: "The greatest poverty is ignorance".
